Meet our Miniature Donkeys
Miniature Donkeys are found in a lot of farms, zoos and private collections but the breed originated from Sicily and Sardinia, they were used as a working animal for uses such as pack animal, turning grain inside homes and pulling carts. They can come in a range of colours from black, grey and dappled.
Range
Miniature Donkeys originate in the Mediterranean islands of Sicily and Sardinia. Our miniature donkeys can be found in the beautiful fields of Greenacres Animal Park, where they roam freely and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Diet
Our miniature donkeys are fed a balanced diet of fresh hay, grains, and vegetables to keep them healthy and happy.
Lifespan
Miniature donkeys have a lifespan of around 25-35 years, making them long-term companions at Greenacres Animal Park.
Conservation Status
While miniature donkeys are not currently endangered, we are dedicated to their care, well-being, and conservation for future generations to enjoy.
