Meet our Corsac Foxes
Corsac Foxes are a small breed of fox, their fur is a range of greys and sandy yellows which helps them to blend in with their surrounds of semi-desert areas of Central Asia and Northern China. If you visit the park through out the year you will be able to see the foxes in their summer and winter coats!
Range
The Corsac fox is native to the steppes and semi-deserts of Central Asia, including parts of Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
Diet
These foxes primarily feed on small mammals, birds, insects, and vegetation. Their diet is adapted to their natural habitat.
Lifespan
Corsac foxes have a lifespan of around 6-8 years in the wild, but they can live longer in captivity with proper care and habitat.
Conservation Status
The Corsac fox is classified as a species of Least Concern by the IUCN. However, habitat loss and hunting pose threats to their population.
