Meet our Ring-tailed Lemurs

Ring-Tailed Lemurs have an iconic look due to their tails, they have between 12-13 stripes on their tail, this number correlates with the amount of vertebrate in their backs. They have large round yellow eyes, when they were first being discovered tribes thought of them to be ghosts or spirits due to their eyes and white fur.

Range

Ring-tailed Lemurs come from Madagascar and can be found in the wooded areas and bushland of the island.

Diet

Ring-tailed Lemurs primarily feed on fruits, leaves, flowers, and sometimes insects. Visitors can observe them enjoying their favourite treats at the park.

Lifespan

Ring-tailed Lemurs have an average lifespan of around 20 to 25 years when in captivity, and our team ensures they receive the best care for a long and healthy life.

Conservation Status
