Greenacres Animal Park is a family-run business that has been a staple in the community for years. The COVID-19 pandemic hit us hard, leading to a decrease in visitors, especially during the winter months. Your support through donations allows us to continue providing exceptional care and experiences for our beloved animals.

Despite dedicated staff and excellent care, a significant drop in visitors this year has made it challenging to survive the quieter winter months. We’re committed to improving the park for both animals and visitors; maintaining high welfare standards, striving to enrich the animals day to day lives as best we can and making it a memorable place for families and friends to return. Being home to exotic, farm, rescued and especially our endangered animals; our goal is to stay open to continue our conservation efforts, educate the public, and most importantly to give our animals the best life they could possibly have!
All income made from entrance tickets and experiences goes straight back into funding for our animals providing food, shelter, vet bills, heating, staff wages and enrichment. With all bills vastly rising each year we’re not sure how we will sustainably survive.
How You Can Help
There are multiple ways you can show your support for Greenacres Animal Park. We have drop off points located in our car park collecting food donations for the animals and a clothes donation bin, the profits of which are channelled back into the park to improve enclosures and facilities.
We accept fruit and vegetables, dried animal food and dried food such as nuts and veg/fruit cans. We also accept frozen fruit and vegetables, but please let us know if you're dropping frozen items off so we can bring them in before they defrost! Our animals are not keen on citrus, leeks or onions so please avoid donating these. We also cannot accept dairy products, ready meals or table scraps.
Our clothes donation bin is hard to miss, as its bright yellow! Please see below what we can accept and please ensure donated items are prebagged.
We also accept monetary donations to contribute to our conservation efforts. Every little bit helps, and we are grateful for your support.
Amazon Wish List
If you would like to donate to the park and ensure it is being put towards enrichment, such as toys and treats, for the animals please look at the following wish list our keepers have put together. If you are undecided of which toy/treat to donate why not buy an amazon gift card so the keepers can choose a toy for you!
There is also a few treats for the keepers on there to make their day to day jobs a little easier!
If you do choose to purchase one of our enrichment items we would love to be able to say thank you, so please do leave a personalised gift message with your name and contact details when given the chance to 'Add gift options'.
