Meet Our Rats!
Rats are very intelligent and social creatures are often misunderstood, but here, we aim to educate visitors about their unique characteristics and the joy they can bring. Rats are classed as an empathetic animal meaning they show strong displays of care towards their caregivers and colony mates. It has been observed that if a colony member is ill and unable to forage for food, other healthy members will go out and bring food back, ensuring good health among the group.
