Meet out Silkie Chickens

Silkie chickens are known for their unique plumage, they have a silkie appearance and even feel silkie to the touch, this is because they lack barbing on their feathers meaning they don't have waterproofing on their feathers. Due to this they are best kept in dry conditions, if they do get caught in the rain for too long they aren't able to easily dry off and this can cause many complications. Silkie chickens are intelligent and are able to recognise facial features alone not needing colour or food queues.
