Are you a student carrying out work placement hours as part of your college or university course requirements? Why not complete your hours at Greenacres animal park with our variety of animal species. We ask that all work experience students commit to at least one day per week until their hours are complete.

For work experience students aged 16+ years, you will assist our keepers in the preparation of daily feeds, distributing animal feeds, cleaning enclosures and general zoo maintenance duties such as raking, sweeping and litter checks. During the peak season, you may also be asked to help out during our Meet & Greet circles as well as holiday event activities, interacting with our members of the public.

If your initial enquiry gets accepted, and there is space available, the next stage of your placement acceptance will be an informal interview and 1 hours practical trial. If this is successful and you show you're hard working, the next stage is starting your placement!
