Meet Our Parma Wallabies
Parma Wallabies are a type of marsupial meaning they have a pouch, this pouch is used to carrying young. This pouch is a feature all marsupials have but kangaroos and Wallabies have a special ability to pause their pregnancy, this is called suspended pregnancy or embryonic diapause. If conditions are harsh and not suitable to rear young they will pause the pregnancy till conditions improve.
